Why so, Sirius?

A piece of sculptural spin art I did for Art Conspiracy 7. The concept was originally a starry night with acrylic trees, but as we worked on the spin machine (which we have since dubbed "The Starmaster") it began to resemble a star going supernova, sucking the trees into its gravity well.
