A marmalade tiger is the offspring of a regular ol' tiger and a white tiger. They don't have the characteristic black stripes - they're white on the bottom and orange on top. Apparently this inspired a Waitress-style brainstorm in my sister and her friend, who marched into our kitchen last night announcing they had "invented a recipe in our brains."
I did the plating with the oranges and such (clementines, really). I just love the opportunity to sculpt and manipulate pretty much anything. Plus she left me half of the slice. Yum!
